This is the A3 unframed print of the great fun Vernacular and Slang Map of Ireland, a word art map made up of everything we say that other countries don’t. I made it initially based on things I’d grown up hearing my dad say, his language was colourful to say the least. Until I was about 12 I thought everyone said ‘bollox’ when they sneezed. It’s filled now with sayings from all over the country and is an affectionate and nostalgic connection with our home grown English language.

Description

A3 print professionally printed onto antique white 300g poster card.

Sold rolled in a tube for ease of posting. Has a note inside with what Ikea frame it will fit into. It fits widely available A3 frames from other shops too. The A3 size is 420mm x 297 mm. If you would like a handwritten note included with the print just message me and I’ll pop that in before it goes in the post.
