Materials

Porcelain Clay

Process

Orla O rolls raw porcelain to create the tile. She then hand imprints each letter into the clay, which is first fired to bisque. She applies underglaze and then fires the piece to 1290 degrees celsius, making it solid to withstand all elements. The art tile is then mounted onto a white wooden frame (10cm x 15cm approx), with any inscription you would like written under the tile (or left blank).

*Orla O Visual Arts custom makes each piece, so the image is a representation of the finished piece.
