Description
This is a continuous line drawing, inspired by the shell sculpture of Charlie Chaplin in Waterville, Kerry. When my children we visited Kerry many times and they liked posing beside ‘Charlie’! So I thought another suitable Irish colloquial saying ‘She’d talk the hind legs of a donkey’… was suitable to add a little fun to this design. These design make unique and personal pieces of wall art, for the young and young at heart.
( ‘She’d talk the hind legs of a donkey’…: Meaning – she never stops talking!) Or the quote from Charlie Chaplin- ‘You’ll never find a rainbow looking down’
The design process is ‘take a line for a walk’, which is drawing the image in a continuous line. All these images are hand drawn by me and Giclee printed on a high quality archival paper. My frames are all hand made in white wood, by The Boat Yard Gallery in Greystones.
