Famous for so many things it’s hard to know where to start. The flora and the landscape of the Burren bring people to visit from all round the world. The trad music scene attracts visitors who sometimes never leave. The inventor of the submarine was from Co Clare as was Brian Boru. A lesser known fascinating fact though is that County Clare hosts the oldest known evidence of human activity in Ireland.
