I LOVE KILDARE by The Word Bird

25.00

Kildare is a county rich in history, culture and entertainment. Kildare town is the site where St Brigid founded her monastery and church, the ‘Church of the Oak’ which became one of the three most important Christian foundations in Celtic Ireland. Renowned worldwide for its famed racecourse and horses, it’s also a mecca for people enjoying its fen and bog lands. I have put as much as would fit into this print of all the very many things and places there are to love in Co Kildare.

A3 unframed print.

About Cuando Creator

Founded by Susan Brambell in 2013, the brand grew from the original slang map of Ireland, ‘The Manky Map’, to include a range of Irish posters celebrating Irish cities, counties and pastimes. Literature, Irish culture and vernacular language feature strongly in all The Word Bird’s pieces, connecting Susan’s time as a secondary level English teacher with her love of design.
