Stella Kearns of Little Star Illustrations has been an illustrator for over thirty years. Stella still works and develops her little characters as she would for animation, beginning with rough blue pencil sketches.

After the birth of her first child, Stella moved from animation into the area of freelance illustration. ‘Little Star Illustrations’ was conceived & fully launched in 2016. Stella works primarily in pencil coupled with a touch of colour in red ink, applied to high-quality paper.

Stella’s work is handmade to order and her designs are both unique and imaginative – perfect for little ones to treasure. All of Stella’s illustrations are available as Fine Art Giclee Prints, created to look like the original artwork.
