Materials – Porcelain Clay

10x15cm frame

Process – Raw Porcelain is rolled to create the tile, each letter is hand imprinted into the clay, which is first fired to bisque. Underglaze is then applied, and the piece is fired to 1230 degrees Celsius, making it solid to withstand all elements.

*Each piece is custom made, and so the image is a representation of the finished piece.

Orla O is a Visual Artist based in Cork and is best known for her unique ‘Words in Porcelain’ offering and other porcelain frivolities.
